summary

This final show, soon to be added to the series, will be devoted to the three major albums released from 1997 to 2006: Time Out of Mind, Love and Theft, and Modern Times. It is my view that these will come to rival the "big three" from the mid-sixties. I will trace the relationship of those three albums to earlier work and make the case for their quality in this epilogue to the series.
